Step 3: Connect Utilities

The City of Augusta is a full-service city (one of only a few in Kansas) offering dependable utility services at economical prices.  The City provides electric, water, sewer, trash, and wastewater services.  Read our “New Customer Brochure” to learn more about your city utility services.  Follow our step-by-step guide below to connect your utilities.

Step 1: Apply

Fill out the appropriate application form (below) for utility service.

Step 2: Bring ID & Application

Bring your completed application, a current photo ID, and payment for utility connection fees to the Utility Office located at 111 E. 6th.  Renters should also bring a copy of their rental agreement.

Step 3: Pay Your Bills

– Pay in Person (DriveThru dropbox @ 111 E. 6th)
– Pay by Mail
– Sign up for Automatic Debit
– Pay by Phone Using Credit Card 1-800-272-9829
Pay Online by Credit Card
(Select “Local Payments” and enter Jurisdiction code 6523)
